The successful candidate will be an Electrical Engineering graduate with 4+ years experience in designing, modeling, prototyping and testing digital systems & circuitry. Extensive knowledge of ColdFire/68K, ARM and PowerPC platforms, communication interface design as well as high density PCB design experience is required. Understanding of analog modulation techniques and RF digital packet data technology would be a definite asset.

The successful candidate will be a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering graduate with 4+ years' experience in developing firmware and middleware in real-time multi-threaded environments. 
Working experience in design and implementation of communication and control applications with variety of embedded real-time operating systems, free-threaded APIs, and multi-layer communications protocol stacks using C/C++ and Assembler on ARM, PowerPC and/or 68K/ColdFire platforms required. Active knowledge of wireline and wireless data communication standards and procedures, LAN/WAN network architecture and management, as well as corresponding communication protocols, would be quite beneficial. Hands-on experience with wireless data WAN, such as CDMA, 1xRTT, 1xEV-DO as well as GSM, GPRS, Edge and UMTS would be a definite asset.
